Dubrovnik Airport to Lead Regional Growth in Q3 2024

14.07.2024

Dubrovnik Airport is projected to be the fastest-growing airport in the former Yugoslavia during the third quarter of 2024 (July - October). With an impressive increase of 171,203 seats compared to the same period last year, it will experience the largest surge in scheduled capacity.

This significant growth is primarily driven by the establishment of Ryanair’s base in Dubrovnik this summer. The airport will offer a total of 891,385 seats over the three-month period, with Ryanair providing 252,688 seats, which is about 28% of the total capacity. This is a notable jump from last year's 4.6% share. Other airlines, such as Volotea, easyJet, and Iberia, are also increasing their capacities, further contributing to the airport's overall growth.
