Dubrovnik Introduces Cashless Payments Across Entire Public Transportation Network

In a bid to cater to the needs of passengers and enhance convenience, Dubrovnik has embraced modernization by rolling out cashless card payments across its entire public transportation network.
Since March 26th, commuters on all Libertas suburban lines have been able to enjoy the convenience of cashless payment methods. The extension of this service to encompass all city public transportation lines is poised to significantly simplify the boarding process and alleviate the burden on drivers when collecting fares.
Mayor Franković underscored the significance of this advancement, particularly in light of plans to introduce a special traffic regime zone around Dubrovnik's historic core. He views public transportation as pivotal in facilitating movement within this zone, with ongoing investments in fleet upgrades and business innovations aimed at enhancing service quality.
