Dubrovnik Achieves Remarkable 86% Sustainability Rating in Global Assessment

The second assessment by the Global Council for Sustainable Tourism has ranked Dubrovnik at 86.04 percent in 2023, a notable increase of 16 percent from 2019. The evaluation, aligned with the "Respect the City" project and previous recommendations, reflects progress in various areas, including destination management, private sector involvement, and sustainability standards.
The assessment, conducted based on United Nations criteria, highlights advancements in monitoring, risk management, and the protection of natural resources, showcasing Dubrovnik's commitment to sustainability.
