Embrace Responsible Digital Nomadism: 6 Tips for Ethical Travel and Meaningful Connections

An interesting article entitled "6 Tips for Being a Responsible Digital Nomad,” on the website Success.com, caught our attention. Slow travel is a trend that is becoming more and more popular and along with this goes hand-in-hand responsible and sustainable travel.

And one digital nomad who recently visited Dubrovnik, Mita Carriman, (and you can catch her interview here) gave her advice on how digital nomads can travel and work responsibly.  

The top six tips were - Educate yourself - Spend conscientiously - Make friends with other responsible digital nomads and locals - Participate in local customs - Learn the language - Try new things.

When talking about one of these points, Participate in local customs, Carriman stated ""It’s in these very simple moments that I just felt deeply connected to the community. It was also an opportunity for me to learn directly from a local what their experience is like on a day-to-day [basis].”
