Clean Waters and Ready Beaches: Dubrovnik-Neretva County Welcomes Visitors with Excellent Sea Quality

Jump on in! The sea water across the Dubrovnik-Neretva County is clean and the beaches are ready.
The Administrative Department for Environmental Protection and Municipal Affairs of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County informs the public that, according to the Program for determining the sea quality on the beaches of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County for the year 2023, the Institute of Public Health of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County has conducted the first regular sea testing on 121 beaches from May 18th to May 25th, 2023.
The sea samples on all beaches met the conditions set by the Regulation on the Quality of Bathing Water.
The sea was rated as excellent on 117 beaches. At the beaches of Hotel Poseidon in Vela Luka, Hotel Port 9 in Korčula, Kobaš in Ston, and Ušće in Ploče, the sea was rated as satisfactory.
The current sea temperature in Dubrovnik is around 21 degrees.
